Needed this charger for an 18 road trip, one way. The shipping was VERY timely and it worked flawlessly for my daughter's Kindle. I was a bit taken back at first, not really being familiar with how the Kindle operates; when I first plugged it in the light on the adapter came on but there was seemingly NO response from the Kindle.
